1909 - KDK (Kawakita Denki Kigyousha) was founded

1918 - Registration of KDK Trademark

Starting of export business

1919 - Kawakita Denki Co. was established in Shanghai

1933 - Chuou Denki Co., Ltd. was established in Osaka

1946 - Restarted electric fan production after World War II

1956 - Osaka Denki Seiki Co., Ltd was established

1960 - Registration of new KDK Trademark

1962 - Renamed the company to Matsushita Seiko Co., Ltd

1969 - The 60th Anniversary Ceremony (the event was being held every 5 years since then)

1978 - Established first KDK distributor KDK Products(HK) Co., Ltd in Hong Kong

1979 - Established KDK International Philippines Corporation [KIPCO] in Philippines

1981 - Set up International Fan Manufacturing Co., Ltd [IFCO] in Hong Kong

1981 - Established KDK International corporation of America [KINCA] in America and TORCAN-KDK International Co., Ltd. [TORCAN-KDK] in Canada

1988 - Shun Hing Electric Works and Engineering Co., Ltd was appointed as sales representative of KDK in Hong Kong

1989 - IFCO was renamed as Matsushita Seiko Hong Kong International Manufacturing Co., Ltd [HIMCO]

1993 - Set up Shunde Matsushita Seiko Co., Ltd [SHUMCO] in China. It was renamed as Guangdong Matsushita Seiko Co., Ltd. [GDMESC] in 2003 and further changed to PESGD in 2006

1995 - Established Beijing Great Wall Matsushita Seiko Air Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd. [BGMAC] which was renamed as PESGD-BJ in 2005

1996 - PESTH was set up in Thailand

1999 - Established Oversea Marketing Headquarter in HIMCO

2001 - Set up sales company PT.KDK Indonesia [KDKI] in Indonesia

2002 - Set up sales company KDK Fan (M) Sdn. Bhd. [KDKM] in Malaysia

2003 - Matsushita Seiko Co. Ltd was renamed as Marsushita Ecology Systems Co., Ltd. and further changed to KDK Company, Division of PES in 2008

2009 - The 100th Anniversary of KDK
